Last week I launched my latest book, The Climate-Conscious Writers Handbook, which I developed collaboratively with some of the world’s leading climate storytellers. It has been designed to help writers of all genres weave climate themes into their work. The playful, interactive hardback journal includes writing exercises, reflective activities, comic strips, inspirational quotes and progress trackers.

If you are able, I’d appreciate you sharing info about the handbook on social media, with a writing friend, or by posting a picture of how you’re using your copy when it arrives.
I’m hoping to reach out to the kind of writers who might not neccessarily think their work can include climate themes. Romance novels and thrillers sell more copies and incite more discussions than any other genres by far, yet writers might not think their books can help the planet. Giving those writers a gentle nudge to show them what a difference their books can make towards environmental activism would be so valuable.
The Next Together readalong
Over on Instagram I’m hosting a readalong of my first novel The Next Together to celebrate ten years since publication. We discuss chapters 1-6 here.
I started writing this novel when I was 16, and I haven’t read it since it was released in September 2015, so this has already been quite a journey for me!
